Before commencing his campaign, Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi sought blessings of senior party leaders and requested them to support him in winning this prestigious seat. On Thursday, Sanghvi reached residences of Suresh Minda, Rameshwar Patel and others. He also called on Surjeet Singh Chaddha, son of late Ujagar Singh Chaddha and sought their support.
“I am seeking blessings of my seniors and also backing from the younger ones. It is not me alone contesting election but we all are contesting elections against the BJP and we will definitely win it,” Sanghvi said. He further said that he was meeting people to gain their support and soon he would prepare a campaign plan with party seniors.

He is also targeting rural areas of Indore constituency and will go to Depalpur on April 21 and Sanwer on April 23 to meet the party leaders and people. “We will start campaign soon. All the leaders including party MLAs and ministers are working together and we will win this seat by a huge margin,” he added.
BJP’S HINDU CARD WON’T WORK AGAINST DIGGY: SANGHVI
Commenting on BJP’s strategy to field Sadhvi Pragya Thakur from Bhopal against Digvijaya Singh to play the Hindu card, Sanghvi said, “Digvijaya had done Narmada Parikrama at the age of 70. No one is bigger Hindu than him and he doesn’t need certificate from others. BJP is playing Hindu card by fielding Pragya Thakur and it won’t affect Digvijaya.”
