Indore: Rise in day temperature offers some relief to citizens

Indore: The weather on Sunday gave much needed relief from biting cold as the day temperature increased by four degrees compared to what was recorded on Saturday. The minimum temperature has also seen a slight increase. Clear sky and bright sunlight gave respite to residents from the cold winds sweeping the city for last three days.

The residents enjoyed pleasant weather as there was rush on city roads in daytime on Sunday. According to meteorological department, city recorded maximum temperature of 25.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which was four degrees below normal while the minimum temperature at 7.7 degrees Celsius was three degrees below normal.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was 21.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 7.5 degrees Celsius. Morning and evening humidity was 40 percent and 28 percent respectively. Meteorological department officials said day and night temperature will increase gradually in coming days.
