Indore: District collector Lokesh Kumar Jatav on Friday imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC on social media. ADM Ajay Dev Sharma said this order will remain effective till March 2. Under this, people have been debarred from posting objectionable or provocative messages, photos, pictures, messages on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp etc. The violators will be penalised.
Petrol pumps remain shut for 15 minutes
On the call given by Indore Petroleum Dealers Association, all the 250 petrol pumps in the district remained shut for 15 minutes between 3 pm to 3.15 pm on Friday. Rajendra Singh Vasu, president of Association, said customers who visited petrol pumps also stood in silence.

Minister condemns attack
At a programme held in private college on Friday, state higher education minister Jitu Patwari paid tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama attack. “The attack was not only on CRPF personnel, it was on the soul of our country. On this day, the whole nation is standing with government and army. In such incidents, it does not matter which government is ruling in the Centre and which government is in the state,” he said.
