Indore: Police dig land near Sanwer Road for evidence

Indore: City police on Thursday dug a land on Sanwer Road in the search of the body of Twinkle Dagre, who is mysteriously missing for more than last two years from her residence in Banganga area. However, the police could not find anything during the excavation.

Twinkle was a Congress activist and was missing since October 16, 2016. Family members approached the police officials many times but police could not crack the case till date. The family members also alleged the role of a BJP leader in the abduction of Twinkle.

Police also conducted BEOS test of some suspects to know about her missing and suspected murder. However, no crucial information was found in the report of the test. A police team was formed to investigate the case and to know Twinkle’s whereabouts.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Harinarayanachari Mishra said that a land near a factory was dug to find evidences but nothing was recovered from there. The investigation is underway and some suspects are being questioned to get clue about the case. Sources claimed that during digging, police have recovered some evidences from the spot and the same are being sent to laboratory for further examination.
