Indore: Over 400 women chartered accountants (CAs) from across the country would arrive in city to participate in one-day meet of women empowerment committee of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) here on Saturday. The CAs would discuss on ‘Urja-Empowering the Power’.
Programme director and central council member of ICAI CA Camisha Soni informed that the meet would be jointly inaugurated by former national chairman of ICAI CA Manoj Fadnis, CA Indore Branch chairman Som Singhal and city mayor Malini Gaud.
In the first session, CA Reema Jain from New Delhi would deliver lecture on ‘women steering the board-opportunities as an independent director and challenges,’ said Soni. CA Reeta Shah from Mumbai, would deliver lecture on ‘super power-unleashed’.
CA Rupal Haria from Mumbai would throw light on forensic fraud. On this occasion police officer Anjana Tiwari would brief about women security at work place.
In the second session of the meet, CA Soni would deliver lecture on ‘changing landscapes-opportunities for female CAs,’ informed CA Singhal. CA Kavita Gupta would discuss in detail about ‘GST: The game changer overview’.
CA Anand Jain, secretary CA Indore Branch, said that at the end of sessions, some of the participants would share their success stories – how did they overcame the challenges and tasted success.
Besides the CAs, MLA Usha Thakur, CSP Parul Belapurkar, Sarpanch of village Barkhedi Bhakti Sharma and CA Seema Mangal would also participate in the meet.
