On the eve of convocation, graduating students of Indian Institute of Management Indore on Monday were spellbound by a cultural evening with a musical performance by VIA. The semi-aerial performance on the pole—was a breathtaking one, which enchanted the entire gathering consisting of graduating students, their parents and family members, faculty and staff members of the institute.
The artists astonishingly presented some moves which cheered up the audience and gained a loud applause. On Monday, a pre-convocation ceremony of graduating students was held. As many as 743 students will get degrees or diplomas during 20th convocation on Tuesday.
As many as 429 students of PGP, 71 of PGP@Mumbai,103 of five year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), 66 of One Year Full Time Residential Post Graduate Programme for Executives, 63 of Post Graduate Programme For Executives, Mumbai (PGPMX), 8 of Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) and three of Fellow Programme in Management (Industry) would get academic awards during the convocation.

At the event, certificates were distributed to the coordinators of various students’ councils by the IIM Indore director Prof Himanshu Rai. Top scorers were also presented with the certificates of appreciation. Scholarships and awards were presented to them.

5. IIM Indore Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance in the 4th Year of Integrated Programme in Management to Radhika Khandelwal.
6. Shapoorji Pallonji Rising Star Award of Academic Merit for EPGP (2017-18) to Kirti.
7. IPM Gold Medal for the Best All Round Performance Male went to Utsav Thapliyal and Female to Ritika Kohli.
