After the filing of nominations, candidates of BJP and Congress have started campaigning for the upcoming elections in their respective assembly constituencies on Saturday. While some Congress leaders visited temples and offered prayers, some BJP candidates conducted meetings with the party workers.
Candidate Sanjay Shukla offered prayers at Bijasan Temple following which he started his campaigning in the lanes of colonies in constituency one area. Scores of party workers were present during his campaign. Candidate Sudarshan Gupta opened his election office at Modi ki Nasiya near Bada Ganpati. The office was inaugurated by Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
Candidate Mohan Sengar started his campaign at Pardesipura Square, taking rounds of the area and meeting the voters. Ramesh Mendola conducted a meeting with corporators and party workers of his constituency area to start the campaigning under their respective wards.
Candidate Ashwin Joshi visited Harsiddhi Temple and offered prayers. He started his campaign in Moti Tabela, Collectorate Square, Adha Bazaar and nearby areas. Candidate Akash Vijayvargiya organised a meeting with his party workers to decide plan campaigning in the constituency area. He will start his campaigning after a ward wise meeting is complete with the party workers.
Malini Gaud and Surjeet Singh Chaddha started meetings with their respective party workers.
Satyanarayan Patel and Mahendra Hardia organised meetings with their respective party workers.
Jitu Patwari started his campaign in Bijalpur and nearby village areas. Madhu Verma conducted meeting with party workers for planning campaigning in the constituency area.
