Pradeep Joshi, who got All India Rank-93, is not the top ranked candidate from the city in Union Public Service Commission exam-2018, results of which were announced on Friday. It’s actually Rahul Jain who got AIR-21. Rahul saw his results on Saturday and then shared information with media. Son of Indore Development Authority deputy CEO Ravindra Jain, Rahul is a alumnus of In dian Institute of Technology Mumbai.
After completing BTech course, he worked with a private bank for some time. Then, he resigned and started preparing for UPSC. This was his second attempt. In the first attempt, he had secured AIR-426 and was offered job by Indian Railway Traffic Service. Not happy with the offer, Jain again attempted UPSC-2018 and secured AIR-21. Rahul wants to be an IAS officer who can make a difference.
