Indore: A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in Kanadiya area on Thursday night. The child was recovered by Fast Response Vehicle (Dial 100) of police and sent her to the hospital. The police are trying to ascertain the person who dumped the girl. An Ahmed Nagar resident had informed FRV control room that a new born girl child was left by someone in the area around 9.30 pm after which FRV Number 12 was sent to the spot.

Policemen of the vehicle recovered the girl child and rushed her to hospital. Later, local police were informed. According to FRV staff, the girl child is aged between 2 and 5 days. The medical examination was done by the doctors. The child’s condition is fine. Kanadiya police station in-charge Anil Singh Chouhan said the person who left the girl child on the road is still unidentified.

Sources claimed that two to three persons were seen by some people dropping the child but they could not be identified. The police are examining the CCTVs installed near the spot and on the possible routes. The statement of the people are being taken after which a case will be registered by the police against unidentified persons for leaving girl and putting her life in danger.
