Indore: Cricketer-turned-politician and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu here on Friday said that political career of Prime Minister Narendra Modi would end as a dalal of Rafale jet deal. “Modi aaye the as Ganga Maa ke lala bankar aur jayenge Rafale ke dalal bankar (Modi had obtained PM post by dubbing himself as son of Ganga and not will go as a broker of Rafale deal),” Sidhu said while addressing a public meeting at Sindhi Colony. He said that the Rafale deal would turn fatal for political career of Modi.
Sidhu attacked Modi saying that he was a big liar. “People have seen movies like Coolie No 1 and Hero No 1. Soon, they will see a movie on Modi’s lies titled ‘Feku No 1’,” he said. He stated that none of the promises Modi had made during the elections campaigns in 2014 were fulfilled. “Even major decisions like demonetization and launch of GST which should have been for the betterment of public were messed up by Modi due to improper planning and poor implementation,” Sidhu said.
He stated that Indore chose the BJP for 30 years but not much development has been done by it. Now, it’s time for Indoreans to give a chance to Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi. He is a man of development. We are already having government in MP. If Sanghvi is elected and the Congress formed government in Centre, Indore would see three times more development, he added.
