MP from Khandwa and former president of state BJP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan lodged a complaint against an unidentified miscreant who circulated a letter bearing his name on social media alleging chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of backtracking from his promises he made to the MP.

In his complaint to Aerodrome police, Chouhan claimed that while staying at his son-in-law’s place in Indore, he “spotted” a letter on social media with his name issued on it with an intention to malign his political image. Chouhan submitted copy of the bogus letter to the police and demanded an investigation.

Chouhan accused the Oopposition party of conspiring against him and said he would approach the Election Commission. Chouhan said he never forwarded any such letter which is being circulated on social media printed on his letterhead.

BJP the city president Gopikrishna Nema, BJP divisional media in charge Alok Dubey and other leaders were present with him.
