Indore: Police on Monday recovered a girl from airport while she was waiting there to board a flight on Friday. Her father had informed the police about her missing. DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra announced reward for police team who recovered her. Girl’s father, a resident of New Gouri Nagar, told police that his daughter Lalita (name changed) is missing when he woke up at 5 am on Friday.
He had seen an air ticket with her two days back about which he told police. A team led by Aerodrome PS incharge Ashok Kumar Patidar was instructed to trace the girl after which the team along with girl’s father reached airport. Police enquired when they came to know that Lalita is going to Vishakhapatnam via Bangalore.
She had also took boarding pass and entered the airport. Police then contacted CISF official and informed about the girl. After that, team and girl’s father entered the airport where Lalita was seen waiting. She began to weep when her father and police talked to her. Police calmed her. The girl apologised and told her father that she was going to Vizag to meet her boyfriend. She said he had been forcing her to meet him. She promised her parents that she will not go anywhere. After that, police handed her over to family members.
