Indore: Two suicide cases were reported under different police stations of the city on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the first case, a 55-year-old man committed suicide at a farm house under Rau police station on Tuesday due to financial difficulties.
In another case, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide due to unknown reasons under MIG police station on Wednesday.
According to police officials, Rau police station, Santosh Malviya, 55, a laundryman and a resident of Musakhedi, committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling of his room. He was going through financial difficulties due to which he was forced to take such an extreme step.
Santosh’s sold his house in Musakhedi area to repay his debt. Reports said that he was living in tension. Santosh was working and living in a farmhouse in Rau area, where he committed suicide, police said.
The police have handed over the body to family members after the post-mortem examination. In the second case, under MIG police station, a 22-year-old youth identified as Aman Kalyane hanged himself to death from the ceiling of his room.
According to police, Aman was alone at his home when he committed suicide. When his family members returned home after some work, they found his room locked from inside.
They broke open the door of the room and found his body hanging. They rushed him to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
