Drug inspection act on three shops in 2 years, didn’t find any problem While the crime branch and narcotics department have been taking action against the prohibited drugs continuously, the drug inspectors of Food and Drug Administration Department are in deep slumber.
According to drug inspector Dharmesh Bigoniya, “We have acted only against three medical stores in last two years and not found any problem or prohibited drug there.” Meanwhile, the crime branch had even cracked down on a chemical factory in 2017 and seized some illegally manufactured powder and pills from there but the drug inspectors put the investigation of the same in cold bag.
