Indore: Man held for entering girl’s house

Indore: Police arrested a man for allegedly entering a house of a girl with bad intention in Rajendra Nagar area on Tuesday. The accused also thrashed the girl when she tried to oppose him. Rajendra Nagar police station incharge Sunil Sharma said that the incident took place on Monday night when the girl was alone at home. Accused identified as Dinesh of the area entered her house and started harassing her. The accused held her hand with bad intention. When the victim cried for help, the accused did not budge and thrashed and pulled her hair.

Neighbors rushed to victim’s house hearing noises and saved the girl. They also caught the culprit who was later arrested by police. Sharma said that victim did not know the accused. He entered her house after finding her alone. He has been arrested and further investigation is underway. In another case of harassment, a woman bank employee was molested by a youth in Kanadia Road. The victim lodged a case with Woman police station stating that she was at her office when the accused named Shailendra Tomar reached there and started misbehaving with her. She said the accused also held her hand with bad intention. She cried for help when he fled threatening her. The police have registered a case and started a manhunt for the culprit.
