Indore: Man harasses woman, pelts stones at her house, held

Indore: We Care For You cell of police on Friday arrested a person for harassing a married woman and pelting stone at her house after using abusive words for her. The victim had stopped talking to him after which he started harassing her.
Additional Superintendent of Police (crime) Amarendra Singh said woman, a resident of Palasia, had lodged a complaint that one of his acquaintances named Abhinandan Nagwanshi is threatening her by making her photos viral. She said he abuses her family members over phone. The woman warned him when he reached her residence and pelted stones at her house.

After receiving complaint, We Care For You cell officials were instructed to investigate the matter. During investigation it was found that complainant woman and accused Abhinandan were school friends and they later became friends. After woman’s marriage, she stopped talking to Abhinandan.

The woman later started staying separately from husband following argument. She was staying her parents home when accused again approached her to talk to her but she did not talk to him after which he started making phone calls to her from different numbers to harass her. He also made phone calls to her parents to talk to woman and created ruckus in front of her parents’ place. The team arrested Abhinandan from his residence in Scheme Number 78 and handed him over to Palasia police station for further investigation.
