Indore: Man drowns in Sirpur Lake

Indore: A 37-year-old man was reported drowned in Sirpur Lake on Sunday evening. He had gone for picnic with his friends when the incident took place. According to police, the deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Surendra Singh, a resident of First Battalion of SAF. He along with friends had gone to Sirpur Lake for picnic. His friends were outside the lake while Surendra was taking bath. He did not know swimming, the police added. While taking bath, Surendra slipped into deep water and drowned. His friends tried to save him but all in vain. The police have sent the body for autopsy and started an investigation.
