Indore: Man consumes poison, Dial 100 service saves him

Indore: Dial 100 (Fast Response Vehicle) personnel played good samaritan when they saved a middle aged man, who tried to commit to suicide by consuming poison in Vijay Nagar in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.Barfani Dham resident 52-year-old Naresh Toliya informed the state level police control room that he has consumed poison at home. After the information, control room officials informed the Dial-100 vehicle personnel in Vijay Nagar area. The police personnel immediately reached Toliya’s residence and rushed him to MY Hospital. Due to timely treatment, Toliya was saved. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

It is said that Toliya had consumed poisonous substance due to family dispute. At the time of the incident, the family members were sleeping but he didn’t wake them up and made a phone call to police control room after which head constable Prahlad Patel and Pilot Sachin Patel reached the spot immediately. Vijay Nagar police station staff is investigating the case.
