A man allegedly committed suicide after being harassed by a person in Raoji Bazaar police station area on Tuesday. The police have sent the body for autopsy and started an investigation into the case. According to police, the deceased has been identified as 54-year-old Mehmood Mohammad of Champa Bag area. Family members who spotted his hung body took it to hospital where he was declared brought dead. After that, police were informed about the incident.
Investigating officer ASI Santram Parihar said Mehmood had written on his hand that he had lent Rs 3 lakh to a person and he is not repaying money due to which he is under depression. The police have taken photograph of note and investigating the matter. It is said that the person whose name was written is suicide note runs iron business in front of Mehmood’s shop. Police came to know that Mehmood had borrowed money with help of person whose name was written in the note.
