Indore: Lokayukta police have sought information from Indore Development Authority to know whether sub engineer Gajanand Patidar, whose house was raided on Saturday, had informed it about his properties. A sum of Rs 35 lakh, gold ornaments worth Rs 35 lakh and silver worth Rs 2 lakh were recovered. Lokayukta inspector Vijay Choudhary said documents related to properties were recovered from him and his brother Ramesh Patidar’s house. The documents are being verified and a list of sellers or buyers of the properties is also being prepared. Besides, an inquiry is on into bank account details. Lokayukta will take information from Patidar’s chartered accountant to know about his income tax payment history.
A letter has been written to IDA to know Patidar’s salary and allowances. The cash, silver and gold ornaments recovered from Patidar’s house will be deposited in the treasury on Monday. Emails have also been sent to concerned bank officials to know Patidar’s account detail. The bank lockers of his brother will be opened on Monday.
