Indore: Smart hydraulic multi-level parking would be constructed at Khajrana Ganesh temple and five other places under Smart City project. Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) on Thursday invited tenders for construction of six hydraulic multilevel parking, which is to be constructed on public-private partnership (PPP) basis.
Apart from Khajrana Ganesh temple, the ISCDL floated tenders for multi-level parking, which will be enabled with hydraulic lifts for, Veer Savarkar Market, MT Cloth Market, Government School (Bhoi Mohalla), Government Unnat School near Mukheripura Masjid and Rajmohalla polt-2 on Jawahar Marg.
The estimated cost for Khajrana Ganesh temple parking is Rs 15 crore, Veer Savarkar Market parking Rs 17.55 crore, MT Cloth Market parking Rs 6.03 cr, Govt School (Bhoi Mohalla) parking Rs 6.68 crore, Govt Unnat School near Mukheripura Masjid parking Rs 5.52 cr and Rajmohalla polt-2 on Jawahar Marg Rs 6.21 crore.
Indore Smart City Development Limited has planned to setup 16 hydraulic multilevel parking across the city to deal with the parking problem. In the first phase, six parking lots would be setup. The city already has six multi-level parking, though not hydraulic ones, at Khajuri Bazaar, MG Raod (near district court), Jawahar Marg, AB Road (behind Raghunath Petrol Pump), Meghdoot Garden (near Hotel Marriot) and one in front of Satya Sai School.
