A cotton industrialist was killed when a car rammed into his two-wheeler near Tukoganj Square on Wednesday. The BMW car driver, who is a minor, crushed the new BMW car into the bike of industrialist and who fell on the road and received fatal injuries. Later, the accused driver tried to escape from the spot by crossing the road divider but was caught by the local people.
The injured, Anand Doshi of Vaibhav Nagar, was taken to a hospital but he succumbed on the way. According to Tukoganj police station in- charge Tehzeeb Qazi, the accused, the 16-year-old driver, crushed Doshi, owner of a cotton ginning factory in Karhi in Khargone district, when he was returning his residence. “Police arrested the driver and seized the car,” Qazi said. Anand was the only bread-winner in the family.
