Indore: The city will get another long distance train as railway board has approved the launch of Indore-Khajuraho Express. The train will connect two world famous tourists sites Khajuaraho and Sanchi. The date for launch has not been decided. RN Sunkar, divisional railway manager, said that dates of train would be announced soon.
According to information, Indore-Khajuraho train will start from city at 3.55 pm and reach Khajuraho next day at 6 am. Khajuraho-Indore will start from the ancient temple city at 11.30 pm and arrive at the city railway station next day at 1.50 pm. It will operate from city on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and from Khajuraho on Sunday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The 20-coach train will have stoppages at Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Lalitpur, Bina, Vidisha, Sanchi, Saint Hirdaram Nagar and Ujjain.
