Indore: Minister of health and family welfare Tulsi Silawat on Wednesday expressed dissatisfaction over cleanliness and security services of government hospitals and asked officials to improve them in six months. Warning the responsible officers of health department during the review meeting of health services in Indore division on Wednesday, Silawat said, “Officers should treat patients as their family members and focus on improving facilities.”

Replying to query, Silawat said chief minister has recently recommended recruitment of 1800 doctors to tide over staff shortage in the department. Health officials informed Silawat about campaign to curb malnutrition, which will be launched in 89 blocks of state.
