Indore: IMC garbage van driver killed in accident

Indore: Driver of a garbage collection vehicle was killed and his co-worker injured after a speeding truck hit them on Bypass Road on Friday. Police have registered a case in the incident.

TI Jagdish Goyal said that the deceased was identified as Rajesh Namdeo (45), a resident of Jagjeevanram Nagar. Rajesh was the driver of garbage collection vehicle of Indore municipal corporation and was on way to dump garbage along with a co-worker when a speeding truck from rear side rammed his vehicle, injuring Rajesh seriously. He was rushed to the hospital where he died during treatment. Eyewitnesses said that his co-worker too was seriously injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment in a hospital.

Police have sent the body for autopsy and are trying to trace the driver of the truck.
