Senior Congress leader KK Mishra on Thursday targeted BJP for not announcing ticket of Sumitra Mahajan from Indore seat and said it will be Indore’s insult if they do gave ticket to her. Addressing a press conference, Mishra said, “BJP has forgotten the Teacher-Student culture and is sidelining all the senior leaders, including Lal Krishna Adwani. Sumitra Mahajan is a senior leader and she is even senior than Narendra Modi as per the protocol.”
Replying over the questions of Indore’s candidature, he said, “Chief Minister Kamal Nath will decide who will be the candidate from Indore. Party will plant a strong leader from Indore and will definitely penetrate into the bastion on BJP.” He also claimed that the Minimum Income Guarantee Scheme announced by Rahul Gandhi will prove to be the final hit on the poverty and more than 5 crore families will benefit from it.
“People are facing the worse situation for last five years as unemployment is increasing, GST has ruined the businesses and demonetisation has stopped the fast growing economy of the country,” he said adding “Narendra Modi gave money only to the rich who are becoming richer in his tenure. Congress always fulfils the promises like we waive of Rs 72000 crore loan of farmers during UPA tenure.”
