Police rewarded an auto-rickshaw driver who returned a bag containing jewelry worth Rs 1.5 lakh. The police team later searched the woman, who forgotten the purse in the auto and handed it over to her.  Chhoti Gwaltoli police station in-charge DVS Nagar said that auto-rickshaw driver, Jitendra Rathore of Shanti Nagar, reached the police station and handed over the bag containing jewelry.

He informed the police that he dropped a couple at railway station. After dropping them, he returned. Later he found the bag on the auto seat. He again reached station to return the bag to the couple but he could not find them. He later reached the police station with the bag containing mobile phone and Rs 1500. A team of S-I Tina Shukla, constable Kalicharan, Pawan Mis hra and Pradeep Choubey along with auto driver Jitendra reached platform number 5 in search of the couple.

They met a woman crying there and she told them about her missing bag containing jewelry. Police gave her the bag containing jewellery and she thanked the police team. She also thanked auto driver Jitendra. Later, police rewarded Jitendra with Rs 1001 for his honesty.
