Indore: Gusty winds blowing with the speed of 20-24 kmph provided much-needed relief from sizzling heat to the residents of the city on Wednesday. Weatherman called the gusty winds as the result of pre-monsoon activities. Sky was clear throughout the day but weather was hot as temperature continued to rise in the past several days. According to met officials, weather will remain the same and temperature will hover around 40-42 degrees Celsius. The city will also witness cloudy weather in next few days as the effect of Fani cyclone. However, there are no chances of rain.
Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 39.6 degrees Celsius which was at the normal while the minimum temperature was at 24.6 degrees Celsius which was two degrees Celsius above normal. Winds blew from west and south-west for most part of the day. Morning and evening humidity was 42 per cent and 14 per cent, respectively.
