Indore: After three days of severe heat, gusty winds offered relief to residents on Tuesday as the temperature dropped to two degrees compared to what was recorded on Monday. Despite this, maximum temperature remained above 41 degrees Celsius. Winds also pulled down the night temperature by three degrees compared to what was recorded on Sunday night. According to regional meteorological department, day temperature will hover around 41 degrees Celsius for next couple of days.
“City weather will remain hot and dry for at least a week. Temperature would decrease when pre-monsoon activities take place,” a department official said. City recorded a maximum temperature of 41.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. It was 43 degrees Celsius on Monday. The minimum temperature was 22.5 degrees Celsius. It was 25 degrees Celsius on Sunday night.
Weathermen said city would witness thunderstorm, gusty winds and pre-monsoon rainfall throughout the month.
