Indore: Four ministers in Pankaj Sanghvi’s show of strength today

Indore: Congress and BJP are set to flex their muscles in the rallies they will take out in the city on Monday. In a show of strength and to prove unity, four state ministers – sports and youth welfare minister Jitu Patwari, home minister Bala Bachchan, health minister Tulsi Silawat and PWD minister Sajjan Singh Verma will take part in nomination rally of Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi.’

The Congress party has asked Patwari and Silawat to make rally successful by bringing activists from their assembly constituencies in large numbers. Congress MLAs Sanjay Shukla and Vishal Patel have been given similar responsibility. The Congress rally will begin from Rajwada at 11.30 am.

Sanghvi is expected to file nomination by 1 pm at collectorate. Party insiders said Sanghvi will submit one form before the rally and another after the rally to play safe in terms of timings and chances of cancellation. On Sunday, party leaders held meetings in all municipal wards to invite workers to participate in rally.

Pankaj Sanghvi too invited people to join rally and held a meeting with businessmen and farmers in a hotel to discuss farming and GST-related problems. He campaigned in Indore assembly segment -1 in Chandan Nagar on Sunday
