Indore: Four persons of a family were booked for reportedly pelting stones at house and threatening a woman and her family in Azad Nagar area late on Saturday night. The situation had worsened and a senior police official had to reach the spot and handle the situation. Police said the accused had an argument with the family over money issue.
Investigating officer ASI Vikram Singh Chouhan said a case against Imran, Arshad and two others was registered on the complaint of a woman. The accused had pelted stones on her family following which she was terrified. They had an argument over money issue. One of the accused had borrowed money from victim’s family members due to which they were arguing outside the house. The situation turned so intense that the accused started pelting stones on the woman’s house.
Following a tipoff, the cops rushed to the spot with police station in-charge Dilip Puri and they took strict action against the accused. A heavy police force was deployed there. The accused have been arrested and further investigation is underway. Sources claimed there was a dispute over drugs supply in the area. However, the police have denied the same and said accused had an argument over money issue.
