Indore: Vehicle lifters’ gang busted, minor among 3 arrested

Police booked a factory owner in connection with the death of an employee while working in Malharganj police station jurisdiction on Thursday.  According to the police, deceased identified as Sanjay Nanediya was working in the factory. He was apparently attempting to lift a heavy machine of about 250 kg, using a crane. In doing so, the machine has lifted and the chain was snapped, crushing Nanediya underneath.

He died during treatment at a city hospital. He is survived by his wife and a daughter. During investigation, it was found that the there were lack of safety measures because of which the incident was happened. Later, a case was registered against factory owner Nilesh Maheswari for negligence.

Two men booked for plot fraud
Four persons were booked by Banganga Police station staff on charges of land fraud on Thursday. They have developed a colony and sold a plot to the complainant but they did not give him possession.  According to the police, the complainant Pawan Pandey lodged a complaint against Nilesh Ajmera and Chirag Shah for disposing the land deed and not registering the sold land.

According to the complainant, on 1 October 2010 he bought a plot in Kalindi Gold City, by Gold City Developers. Payment of Rs 7,31,500 was cleared by him for which the developers had handed him the pact. Rs 1.5 lakh in cash was taken separately as for the development amount, however they did not registered the land. Banganga Police arrested company director Nilesh Ajmera, Chirag Shah, Ashok Pataudi, and Mahavir Jain under charges of fraud.
