Indore: Drunk IMC worker jumps into Kanh river

A muster employee of Indore Municipal Corporation reportedly jumped in Kanh river on Wednesday noon. The team of IMC and police struggled to take him out as he was in inebriated state.  According to reports, the incident took place at around 12 noon. Tarun Narayan, a muster employee at IMC garden department, jumped in river from near Sanjay Setu. The reason behind such step could not be known as he was in inebriated state. The IMC officials and MG Road police threw a rope to take him out but he did not catch it.

Finally, an IMC official ordered on wireless set to send an employee on the spot. After two hours, an IMC employee jumped in the river and took him out. Police said Tarun had gulped down filthy water so he was first sent to MY hospital for the treatment. Police are investigating whether jumped in the river or fell accidently in it.
