Indore: The animal cruelty prevention police station, opened in Kanadiya police station, has completed one year of its establishment on April 4. A programme to prevent animals form cruelty was conducted at Indore police headquarter on Friday. The programme was inaugurated by Senior Superintendent of Police Ruchi Vardhan Mishra to save the birds from the heat by distributing pots to all police stations.
This unique programme was envisaged by the Additional Superintendent of Police Shailendra Singh Chauhan for animal conservation and cruelty prevention and was being inaugurated by the SSP. NGOs including Peoples for Animals, Flying Foundation, Anand Service Society and Rotary Club contributed in this initiative of Indore police. All Animal Protections Group affiliated to Nodal Police Station, Kanadiya. This exemplary initiative of police can protect nature by conserving maximum numbers of animal and birds. Pots made up of clay will be distributed in all locations including police stations of the city and in government offices.
