Indore: Candidates appearing for common entrance test scheduled on January 23 have been asked by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya not to bring mobile phones, IT gadgets and valuable items with them. The DAVV has prohibited clutches, belts, sunglasses etc inside the premises where the examination will be held.

“Mobile phones, calculators, IT gadgets and any other communication device such as bluetooth etc are not allowed inside examination hall. Any infringements of these instructions will entail disciplinary action,” said registrar Anil Sharma.

The DAVV on Saturday will upload on its website a list of items, which are prohibited during the entrance test. The list will include items like clutches, wristbands, sunglasses, belts, purse, caps, handkerchiefs and scarves.

“We will bar candidates from even wearing shoes and socks so that entry of electronic devices can be checked. The candidates will be advised to come to the exam centres wearing slippers,” Sharma said adding that prohibitory orders will be issued on Saturday.
