Indore: It was a proud moment for the city on Saturday, when a company secretary of the city Ashish Garg was elected National Vice-President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for 2019. He is the first CS from the state to reach this heights.
ICSI is a premier professional body set up under Act of Parliament, ICSI ACT 1980. CS Ranjeet Pandey, a Fellow Member of the Institute has been elected President. In the meeting of Central Council of ICSI held in New Dehi, CS Garg’s election was declared. In the election for members for Central Council from Western India Regional Council, CS Garg was elected for highest number of votes. In the last tenure also CA Garg was member of Central Council of ICSI.
CS Garg has over 18 years of experience and specializes in Corporate Laws, organizational restructuring and corporate legal counseling to companies and appearances before Company Law Board. He has been a prominent speaker at various conferences and seminars in India and abroad. He was member of the Western India Regional Council of the ICSI for two terms.
