Indore: Just a day after protests by BJP activists led by MLA Akash Vijayvargiya against Rahul Gandhi at Pardeshipura Police Station, Congress lodged a complaint against the MLA for violation of Model Code of Conduct on Thursday.

Congress activists led by Devendra Singh Yadav, lodged a complaint with the electoral officers that Vijayvargiya took out a rally in protest of Rahul Gandhi and also staged demonstration with permission of the police. “As the Model Code of Conduct has been imposed, all leaders must take the permission before taking out the rally or staging protest but Akash Vijayvargiya and BJP activists violated the norms,” Yadav said.

He also lodged complaint against the police station in-charge of Pardeshipura who had taken the memorandum but didn’t act against the violation of norms. On Wednesday, Akash Vijayvargiya had submitted a memorandum to the police and requested to register a case against Rahul Gandhi for sedition as he is supporting those involved in anti-national activities and also giving respect to the terrorist.
