Indore: After three days of unusual weather conditions of rain, gusty winds and thunderstorm, the temperature on Wednesday turned pleasant. The day started with cloudy weather but it turned sunny in the noon as the sky became clear. However, change in weather conditions left its effect on day and night temperature, which dropped to six degrees Celsius. Clear sky and bright sunlight gave relief to residents from thunderstorm while cold winds offered relief from heat. The residents enjoyed pleasant weather as heavy rush was seen on city roads after two to three days.
According to meteorological department, city recorded maximum temperature of 32.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The minimum temperature at 18.9 degrees Celsius was two degrees below normal. Morning and evening humidity was 67 percent and 20 percent respectively. “On Wednesday, weather turned pleasant due to clear sky. Similar conditions will prevail for next couple of days but the temperature will gradually increase,” a met department official said. However, department officials cautioned that weather may take another U-turn in next few days if any low pressure area is generated in western part of the state.
