Indore: City BJP president Gopikrishna Nema on Tuesday took a dig at Congress government for splitting farm loan waiver scheme into different monetary categories to fool state’s poor farmers.
Nema told mediapersons that chief minister Kamal Nath government failed to deliver on its promises.
The BJP leader expressed dissatisfaction and said people have been devoid of basic amenities like electricity and water, let alone tall claims made during assembly elections held last year.
“The electricity supply equipment were working fine since past 15 years. How can they become sub standard in last six months?” Nema remarked while explaining how the government is making excuses to hide its "money-making business".
Ex-MLA Sudershan Gupta said state government has failed to maintain electricity supply system.” Nema cited transfer of more than 500 IAS and IPS officers till date saying, “The government is not able to handle itself and the system.
He further said,“From students to farmers, from professors to government workers all are dissatisfied with the way the system is running under the new government.”
The party will continue its lantern march and agitations to wake up the ruling party, Nema said.
