Indore: A 19-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at Sonia Gandhi Nagar in Bhanwarkuan on Monday afternoon. According to police, Nandini was a student of BA in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Art and Commerce College. Nandini’s mother Laxmi works as a maid who spotted the hung body on returning home. Laxmi raised an alarm and informed neighbours who called police. During preliminary investigation, police found Nandini had two brothers and her father had died few years back.

The family members suspect that Nandini felt pressure of upcoming exams following which she took the extreme step. The police did not find suicide note and there was no text message in her phone, which could clear the reason behind her death. The body was sent for autopsy. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.  In another incident, a 47-year-old man committed suicide by hanging self in Banganga on Monday morning.

Deceased Anup Singh, resident of New Reoti Gram, worked as a labourer. Anup reached home drunk on late Sunday night. He had a fight with his wife over liquor consumption. Anup went inside house and his body was found hung on Monday morning. The police are investigating the incident.  In yet another incident, a 28-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging self at Govind Nagar in Banganga on Sunday. Deceased Babli Yadav’s body was found hung by husband Ajay following which he rushed her to MY Hospital where she died before receiving treatment.

Ajay said he married Babli six years back. He could not suspect any reason behind her action. No suicide note was recovered.
In another incident, hung body 26-year-old Ajay was found by his family members at Shradha Saburi Nagar on Sunday. The family members rushed him to MY Hospital but he could not be saved.
