Police arrested a youth for raping a class VIII girl at his sister’s house in Khajrana on Wednesday. The girl was threatened of dire consequences and therefore she did not object. Accused is being questioned by the police further. Khajrana police station incharge Preetam Singh Thakur said a case against accused Lareb Syed of Khajrana was registered on the complaint of a 14-year-old victim’s mother.
The complainant woman stated that her daughter was stopped by accused Lareb a few days ago. The accused lured her and took her to his sister’s house in Khajrana where he sexually assaulted her after threatening her. The girl was terrified so she did not reveal the matter for many days but she finally told about it to family members after which the police complaint was lodged. Complainant said that her daughter was taken by the accused to the same place again and was raped. He threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to anyone.
The accused was booked under Prevention Of Children from Sexual Offences Act and IPC Section pertaining to rape. A team of Khajrana police station arrested him on Wednesday. Another rape case was reported at Betma police station on Tuesday. A 25-year-old married woman lodged a complaint that accused Shekhar forcefully took her to a shed constructed on her farm where he raped her. Later, the accused fled after threatening victim.
Youth booked for stalking girl
A youth from Shajapur was booked by Rajendra Nagar police station staff for stalking a girl on Tuesday. The girl told police that accused has been stalking her for many days. He is also forcing her for marriage. Though she warned the accused, he did not stop harassing her. A search is on for the accused.
