Indore: Builder case Cops get clue, info award now 30 thousand

Indore: Indore cops claim to have stumbled upon important clues in the murder case of city businessman Sandeep Agrawal on Friday. The police have questioned around 98 suspects and also collected the possible escape route through which the accused managed to flee after shooting Agrawal. Police believed that one of the accused knew the shortcut route through which they reached Talawali Chanda area and later fled after leaving car.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Harinarayanachari Mishra said the car found abandoned was possibly used in the crime. The car belongs to a person from Rajasthan and it was stolen by the accused and used in the crime after manipulating its registration number. The accused installed the number plate of Bhopal to mislead the police. Police have claimed some important leads have been found and the case is most likely to be solved in a couple of days.

Seven teams are working to trace the killers in the city and other districts. A team was also sent to UP and Maharashtra. Police came to know that the shooters captured in the CCTV may be from UP or Maharashtra. Besides, local criminals and suspects were also being questioned.

More than 100 CCTVs installed on the route from Vijay Nagar to Lasudiya area were examined to get clue about the killers. DIG has also called a meeting for the crime branch and other investigating teams late on Thursday night and they were given certain directives to reach to the accused.

However, police are investigating the case on all aspects but the money matter of crores of rupees is being investigated on top priority. Reward on the arrest of the accused has been increased by the police. Reward of any information is now pegged at Rs 30,000. This was announced by ADG Varun Kapoor on Friday.
