How to prepare?
Thorough reading of NCERT books along with supplementary material is necessary and solves all exercises given at the back of each chapter. After completion all units, solve at least five previous year question papers. Prepare for important definitions, concepts, flow diagrams, process and labelled diagrams. Students can divide each chapter into smaller parts and then revise them. Go through CBSE sample papers with solution. This will help you to know the pattern of questions and methodologies to solve the paper. Solve NCERT exemplar.
Attempting exam
Reading time, that is, 15 minutes is provided before writing time, is very important. Read the questions carefully with internal choice first and select, which option you will attempt. If possible attempt all questions preferably in serial order and section wise. Write precise and to-the point answers.
Long answers should be written point-wise. Supporting questions with diagrams and examples is helpful. Underline the key words in answers properly. Do not panic if you cannot recall any answer. Leave that question and space in paper and solve the rest of the paper. Gradually, you will remember as you have studied everything. Try to finish writing all the answers before 15 minutes so that you can check your answers properly. Lastly, keep calm while attempting the paper.
