Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Nirala Srijanpeeth Madhya Pradesh director Dr Shriram Parihar said that elements of ‘Bhartiyata’ (Indianism) are contained in every genre of literature penned by noted poet Mahapran Suryakant Tripathi ‘Nirala’. “He can’t be proved a Leftist just because of such poems as ‘Abe sun be gulab’. In his poems, such as ‘Shakti Puja of Ram’, there is a vision of the vast form of the land of India,” he said while addressing a seminar at the Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Samiti’s auditorium on Sunday.
Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Academy chairman Dr Vikas Dave said that Nirala was once denied publication in many literary magazines under a conspiracy. “At that time, Veena Patrika of Indore gave him a place in the literary world by publishing his works.
Uttarakhand-based litterateur Dr Buddhinath Mishra presided over the programme and apprised the audience of the inequalities and various aspects of Nirala’s life.
Litterateur Girendra Singh Bhadauria, Dr CV Raman University, Khandwa, vice-chancellor Dr Shahzad Qureshi, and Bhopal-based professor Dharmendra Pare also spoke at the seminar.
