Indore: Two unidentified men robbed a man of Rs 6,000 after scaring him of police action in Dwarkapuri area on Saturday. The accused were threatening him of implicating in police case for damaging a vehicle.
Loknayak Nagar resident Govind Prajapati approached Dwarkapuri police station and lodged a complaint that that he is an auto rickshaw driver and was passing from Sath Feet Road when two men on a bike stopped him.
The accused alleged that Govind has damaged the windscreen of one Sharmaji’s cars. Govind denied this when accused started threatening him. According to police, the accused later took Govind behind a school where they snatched Rs 6,000 from him and fled.
Govind tried to stop them and chased them but in vain. The police have registered a case against unidentified person. The CCTVs are being examined to trace the accused.
