Indore: Ashish Karodia elected as WIRC chairman

Indore: Company secretary Ashish Karodia has been as elected as the chairman of Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of Institute of Company secretaries of India (ICSI). Karodia is the second company secretary who has been elected in the higher body.

On January 18, another company secretary Ashish Garg was elected as national vice president of ICSI Company secretary Rahul Sahastrabudhe from Mumbai has been elected as vice chairman, Pavan Chandak from Pune has been elected as secretary and Rajesh Tarapara from Ahmedabad has been elected as treasurer of WIRC for 2019.

WIRC is one of regional councils of ICSI comprising six states including Gujarat, MP, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa and Daman and Diu. Karodia was elected in a meeting of 16 members including 11 members of WIRC and five members of Central India Regional Council (CIRC) held in Mumbai on Monday. He was chairman of Indore chapter in 2014.
