Indore: Another newborn girl found, police clueless about the parents

Indore: Another newborn baby girl was found abandoned in the city on Wednesday. The residents immediately informed the police control room after which the child was rushed to the hospital. The local police did not file any case till late evening saying that the investigation in underway into the case.

The residents of Pawanpuri Colony spotted the girl near lord Shiva Temple and they informed Fast Response Vehicle (Dial 100) of police. Head constable Karan Singh and pilot Ashish Patel of Dial 100 vehicle reached there and recovered the child. Later, she was rushed to MY hospital. The girl is safe and no injury marks were found on her. She is undergoing treatment.

The residents informed the police that some people had left the girl there in the night. One of the residents heard her cries around 6 am after which police were informed. Azad Nagar police did not register any case till late evening. An official of police station said the case will be registered only after the investigation into the case. No clue was found about the persons who left the girl near the temple putting her life in danger.

Last week, dial-100 team had recovered a girl child in Kanadiya area. Kanadiya police station staff had registered a case immediately after receiving information about the incident. However, the police are still clueless about her parents or the person who left her near the road. The rise of such incidents in the city is a serious concern and police should register cases immediately to take strict action against the culprit.
