Indore: Divisional commissioner Akash Tripathi and ADG (RAPTC) Milind Kanaskar and their respective better halves have emerged with flying colours in MBA (executive) course exams, results of which were announced of late by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. Tripathi couple and Kanaskar couple are among the five toppers of the four-semester course meant for executives only. The first position went to Shewta Baliya who got 2282 out of 2800 marks. Akash Tripathi stood second and Milind Kanaskar third by obtaining 2209 marks and 2110 marks respectively.
The ADJ’s wife Aarti Kanaskar secured fourth position and the commissioner’s wife Neha Tripathi fifth position. Neha Tripathi got 2081 out of 2800 marks. MBA (executive) course is offered by Institute of Management Studies, an entity of DAVV, for working executives. Many senior officers pursued this course and it is a hit among administrative and police officers. Sixty per cent marks in this course are for theory and 40 per cent for internals.
Classes of this course are held on Saturdays and Sundays at IMS. After the results were announced, the participants sought permission for organizing a graduating ceremony but their request was rejected. “There is no tradition of holding graduation cermony of MBA (executive) programme of the permission was denied,” said Niranjan Shrivastava, course coordinator.
