Indore: Senior Congress leader Ajay Singh ‘Rahul’ visited city on Tuesday to campaign for party candidate Pankaj Sanghvi. He reached city’s popular food street – Chhappan Dukan – to meet people and seek votes. He met customers and owners of known food joints and of other shops to solicit votes in favour of Congress party.
Meanwhile, Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi visited Gautampura to seek blessings from Jain monk and Padmabhushan Vijayratna Sundarsurishvar Maharaj. Sanghvi also campaigned in Gautampura, Banedia in Depalpur area. He asked people to vote him for his relations. He promised them that he will be by their side during their joys and sorrows. Sanghvi highlighted Congress-led state government’s farm loan waiver scheme during his interaction with people. “Congress will fulfil all the promises it has made. We will give new heights of development to rural areas as well,” he said.
