Indore: Police booked four persons including two women for developing a colony illegally in Aerodrome area on Saturday. The police have stopped the work and started a search for the accused.  Aerodrome police station in-charge Ashok Patidar said that the Building Officer (Zone-16) of Indore Municipal Corporation had lodged a complaint that a colony was being developed on Chhota Bangarda Road by Sitaram Durgadin, Sitabai, Ravishankar Morya and his wife Basantibai Morya, all residents of Bhagirathpura. The colony is being developed illegally and they are also trying to sell plots.

The accused did not take permission from the IMC for the development of colony. The accused also did not apply for land diversion and layout of the colony was not sanctioned by the Town and Country Planning Department, colonizer licence was not found and they also did not take the building permission before development of the colony.  The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act 1956. No arrests have been made till filing the report.
